  • Cindy Crump

    Founder and Chief Executive Officer

    Cindy Crump has more than 25 years’ experience building out and managing the successful introduction and operation of transformational technologies into commercial operating environments.  Early in her career, Ms Crump Cindy headed telecommunication carrier management at DHL Worldwide, where she led an early internet build-out of a global data network.  Later, as a senior director at Freddie Mac, she successfully led a team tasked with establishing internal risk underwriting and trading systems utilizing predictive analytics during the early days of mortgage-backed securitization.  These systems later served as a platform for Freddie Mac to deliver risk underwriting and trading services to financial institutions in Wall Street and across the country.  In the mid-1990s, she led the development and deployment of information systems supporting the build-out of local loop commercial broadband services for MCI Metro.  She was then recruited to CyberCash, where she managed the build-out and supported the operations of CyberCash’s overseas secure transaction processing networks.  Cindy holds an M.A. in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Economics from George Mason University.

  • Bruce Wilson

    Chief Operating Officer

    Bruce Wilson, Chief Operating Officer.  Bruce Wilson brings more than 30 years of leadership in sales, executive management and technology implementations for Fortune 50 and startup technology companies that have profoundly shaped the delivery of remote electronic services.  Bruce Wilson’s first experience with telehealth was as an electrical engineering student at Northwestern University, studying under Dr. Franklin Offner, inventor of the modern 12-lead EKG.  He managed the installation of one of the first telehealth linkups interconnecting three Chicago hospitals.  At the New York operating unit of AT&T (New York Telephone) he was part of the team that created embedded sensor nodes in switching systems with artificial intelligence that emulated expert human technicians in switching systems to accomplish pattern analysis and remotely monitor system status.  At NYNEX he served in various management capacities including Vice President-Marketing & Sales, NYNEX Computer Services, a $100M/Year operating unit.  He founded and served for three years as President of NYNEX Electronic Funds Transfer Solutions, generating $65M in revenues.  In 1994, Mr. Wilson co-founded CyberCash, an internet pioneer in secure online payments processing, taking the company public in an IPO as its COO.  While at CyberCash, he led the expansion of CyberCash into global markets, establishing and managing joint ventures with Softbank in Japan, Dresdner Bank and 12 other banks in Europe, including Barclays in the UK.  He was active in the Electronic Funds Transfer Association and elected its Chairman in 1999.  He holds BS Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and MBA from Long Island University.

  • Kelly Besecker

    Vice President for Sales and Marketing

    Kelly Besecker is a 20+ year sales veteran with demonstrated success with training and managing sales teams to generate rapid growth in revenues and operating margins.  Ms Besecker was a corporate director of sales for Sunrise Senior Living, the largest for-profit operator of senior living facilities in the United States, where she took the lowest performing sales territory and made it the company’s the highest revenue-producing team in six months. Ms. Besecker’s responsibilities also have included post-acquisition change management and developing sales and market execution strategies to meet a company’s strategic plan for development. She has had complete P/L responsibility for a business with $39M in annualized revenue, increasing its operating margins 4-fold. Ms. Besecker has extensive knowledge and experience in developing, selling, marketing, pricing, and training strategies for new services and products. She developed corporate-wide Management Training programs on all aspects of business including Sales & Marketing, Technology & Telecommunications, General Operations, Personnel Management and Customer Service. She is certified to teach and coach SPIN Selling Methods. She is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.S. in Economics.

  • Jill DeGraff Thorpe

    General Counsel and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives

    Jill DeGraff Thorpe brings 20 years’ experience advising public and private companies in corporate, strategic partnering, M&A, structured finance, technology acquisition and private equity transactions.  She is familiar with all corporate operating functions and has advised on key matters in intellectual property, product development, sales and marketing, contracts, corporate compliance, risk management and human resources.  Ms DeGraff Thorpe was Associate General Counsel for CyberCash, serving as its corporate and securities counsel.  Before that, she practiced law at Morrison & Foerster, specializing in corporate, securities and financial transactions.  She holds a B.A. cum laude from Wellesley College and a JD from The University of Virginia School of Law.

  • Amy Papadopoulos, D.Sc

    Senior Research Scientist

    Dr. Amy is the senior research scientist at AFrame Digital. She leads AFrame Digital’s research in the areas of predictive modeling, gait analysis, and fall detection, and is particularly interested in recognizing changes in patterns that may be indicative of increased fall risk or declining medical condition. She received a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Virginia, her M.S. in computer engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her D.Sc. in biomedical engineering from The George Washington University. Over the past 20 years, she has worked as a software developer working on fault-tolerant computing systems, voice-mail systems, and GSM applications, and co-authored several papers published in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Christine Tsien Silvers, MD, PhD

    Chief Medical Officer

    Dr. Silvers is a Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and bioinformatics expert in the area of multivariate trending and predictive modeling. She attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning her S.B., S.M., and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The focus application area in her dissertation work, “TrendFinder: Automated Detection of Alarmable Trends,” concerned patient bedside monitoring for the intensive care unit.  Dr. Silvers earned her M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School, then trained at the combined Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital Emergency Medicine residency program. She has published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals in the field of artificial intelligence in medicine, and has presented her work at conferences both in the U.S. and abroad, including Australia, England, Israel, and Korea. Dr. Silvers has also published in the medical field, most recently as first author of Blueprints Clinical Cases in Emergency Medicine, Second Edition.
